Spanish Course Levels (Online & On-Site)

Our Beginner level (Online & On-Site) focuses on grammar, pronunciation, listening, and writing skills. Students will learn practical Spanish vocabulary through dialogues, games and role playing situations. Students will learn and practice basic words and phrases to help them learn how to communicate clearly in Spanish from the very beginning.

Students will be asked to do grammar and dialogue exercises. Homework, is an integral part of this level. Teachers will begin conducting classes in Spanish but may use English to speed up the learning process if necessary during the first 3 classes.

Students must pass a written and oral exam before moving onto intermediate jevel.

Intensive Beginner Courses (4 hours daily, 3 to 4 weeks) Beginner students will be able to introduce themselves, ask for directions, buy and negotiate in markets and stores, take public transport and taxis, order in restaurants, discuss basic topics; hold short conversations, and write notes in Spanish.

Our Intermediate level (Online & On-Site) primarily focuses on developing conversation and comprehension skills as well as accomplishing advanced reading and writing assignments. 

With the help of our native spanish-speaking instructors, students will improve their conversational skills. Although intermediate courses lay emphasis on developing speaking and listening skills, grammar remains an integral part of the curriculum. Lessons are conducted entirely in Spanish.

Prior to each lesson, students will be asked to prepare a topic of conversation suggested by their teacher whom will pay close attention to the individual needs and interests of the student.

Students must pass a written and oral exam before moving onto advanced level.

Intensive Intermediate Courses (4 hours daily, 5 to 8 weeks) Intermediate students will be able to hold prolonged conversations, discuss more complex topics of conversation, such as: culture, politics, history, economy, and business; a better understanding of Latin American music and movies; write letters and short essays.

Our Advanced Level (Online & On-Site) puts emphasis on the capacities of the student on an individual basis while following an integral curriculum for quick and effective results.

Based on our extensive experience, most advanced students need special attention in areas where, over time, they may have developed incorrect linguistic practices. Therefore, the correction of erroneous habits through grammar exercises is of essence. 

Students will be asked to develop and present a number of topics (sometimes outside of their comfort zone) suggested by the tutor; as well as, perform listening exercises, and short translations to improve their ability to communicate fluently.

In some cases, depending on the student’s skills, advanced students may be encouraged to develop special projects of their own. such as: elaborate short stories, write magazine articles, etc.

Intensive Advanced Courses (4 hours daily, 9 to 12 weeks) Advanced students will be able to communicate fluently, improve listening, pronunciation, and writing skills; understand the subtleties of the Spanish language, such as: jokes, aphorisms, and phrases with double meaning; develop a thesis, and write more complex essays, and perform short written and oral translations.
